City People sat down with Mary Idahosa, a Bridal Hairstylist and CEO of Style Me Ventures for an interview.
In the interview the CEO bemoaned the cost of running a hair salon business in Lagos.
She compared the cost of renting a shop in mainland to the island, saying “renting a shop in mainland all-inclusive will be N250,000. But on the island it’s running into millions because of cost of shop, equipment and tools has increased.”
She also talks about how she financed her hair business in the early days, the challenges which includes power failure, and lack of competent hands.
In addition. she discussed how she begun services clients in the comfort of their home during the COVID 19 lockdown.
